What to expect on my first visit?

Your initial consultation is designed to give you a complete and confident start to your recovery. During this appointment, you’ll receive:
- A thorough clinical assessment and evaluation to understand your condition, symptoms, and goals
- Any necessary treatment or intervention carried out during the session
- Personalised rehabilitation exercises tailored to your needs
- A clear, structured recovery plan so you know exactly how to move forward

What should I wear?

🧍‍♂️ Upper Body Conditions
For neck, shoulder, and back assessments, a vest top or loose‑fitting top is ideal. This allows free movement and gives the practitioner proper access to observe posture and mobility.

🦵 Lower Body Conditions
For lower back, hip, and leg assessments, shorts are required. They make it easier to assess alignment, joint movement, and muscle activation.

👕 General Clothing Advice
Choose clothing that is loose, comfortable, and easy to move in. Anything that allows you to stretch, bend, and perform movements without restriction works well.

How long is a session?

All appointments last up to one hour, giving plenty of time for assessment, treatment, and guidance.

How often will I require treatment?

The number of physiotherapy sessions varies from person to person because it depends on your specific condition, your diagnosis, and how your body responds to treatment. Some conditions resolve quickly, while others benefit from a slightly longer course of care.

Starting physiotherapy early often leads to better outcomes and a faster recovery, as it helps prevent symptoms from becoming long‑term or more complex.

On average, most clients attend around four sessions, though this can be fewer or more depending on your progress and goals. Your physiotherapist will discuss this with you during your initial assessment and create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs
